Aproko Doctor Lashes Back At Netizen Who Claim He Hasn’t Contributed To The Community, Before The GMO Saga

Dr. Chinonso Egemba, known as Aproko Doctor, in the cause of advocating for Genetically Modified Organism- GMO- to address food shortages and hunger in Nigeria as against organic products has been on the receiving end of backlashes from netizens.

There were fears and genuine concerns about the health risk and its impact on an average farmer in the long run, which will in effect make the country dependent on foreign companies that sell GMO seeds.

Though, Aproko Doctor defended the technology by highlighting its role in combating food insecurity that will lead to higher yields.

Unfortunately for the social media health influencer, who had been called several names and accused of being a tool in the hand of the government who doesn’t have good health facilities for its citizens and still have the audacity to present to it, a substandard that has more health risk than advantage.

The doctor’s involvement in the advocacy was queried, from if he really has an idea of what he’s promoting, to why developed nations are rejecting GMOs but he kept mute while still promoting the importance of good health and water.

It got twisted when he announced that he has five laptops to give out to who will give genuine reasons for wanting and what they want it for.

Unexpectedly, his comment section was full of vile statements and knocks making it look as if his credibility has been tattered as a result of his advocacy but he lashed back at one person who asked if he had ever done give away prior to his GMO support
