Arsenal have reached an agreement with Sporting CP for the transfer of Viktor Gyökeres. The deal is worth €63.5 million plus €10 million in add-ons.

The Sweden international only wanted to join Arsenal and turned down offers from other clubs. He has agreed to a five-year contract with the Gunners, and his medical is expected to take place in the coming days, with an official announcement imminent.

Gyökeres made 102 appearances for Sporting, scoring 97 goals and providing 28 assists. He won four Golden Boots during his time at the club.

The 27-year-old also helped Sporting win two league titles and one Portuguese Cup.
