Brazil Receives Indonesia To Expand Trade, Cooperate In Defense, Civil Aviation, And Education.

Brazilian president Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva in a post on Wednesday revealed that president of the Republic of Indonesia Prabowo Subianto in a move to reinforce friendship between both nations visit the country and also to strengthen his Indonesia’s entry into the BRIC Nation.

Lula wrote: “I received today, in Brasília, the President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, following his participation in the BRICS Summit in Rio. Our partnership is strengthened with Indonesia’s entry into BRICS and the New Development Bank.

“Brazil and Indonesia share commitments to peace, the fight against hunger and poverty, and environmental preservation. We work together for more climate financing, the creation of the Tropical Forests Forever Fund, and for fair sustainability standards.

“We aim to expand our trade, cooperate in defense, civil aviation, and education. This visit reinforces the friendship between two great Global South countries.” He added.
