Chelsea are interested in signing Dutch talent Xavi Simons from RB Leipzig. The English club are in talks with the player’s representatives; they are trying to reach an agreement on contract terms, according to Florian Plettenberg.

If the negotiations are successful, Chelsea intends to begin negotiations with Leipzig for Simons.

RB Leipzig is open to selling Simons, as his sale would generate profit for the club. The German side value Simons at €70 million, which is more than Chelsea’s valuation of the player.
