Fenerbahçe have reached an agreement to sign Nelson Semedo. The full-back left Wolves as a free agent after his contract expired at the end of June.
His departure was not announced until Wednesday, as Wolves were still trying to reach a new agreement with Semedo. However, the player opted against staying, expressing a desire to try something new.
Semedo will serve as a replacement for Nigeria international Bright Osayi-Samuel, who left the club earlier this summer. His signing is expected to be crucial for Fenerbahçe as they aim to qualify for the UEFA Champions League group stage and compete for the Turkish Süper Lig title.
