Jules Koundé has extended his contract with FC Barcelona, keeping him at the club until June 2030.
Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano posted on his official X handle:
“Jules Koundé has agreed to sign a new deal at Barcelona until June 2030, as expected.
Agreement in place with the club and green light from Koundé’s camp, with Barça director Deco on it.
Formal steps to follow, but deal in place, as @FabriceHawkins and @lequipe reported.”
Koundé has been one of the most reliable players in this Barcelona side over the last four years. The 26-year-old has won two La Liga titles, two Copa del Rey trophies, and two Supercopa de España titles. The only major trophy missing from his cabinet is the UEFA Champions League, which he came close to winning last season.
