A woman in her 50s is believed to have lost an arm when a lion mauled her at the Australian zoo on Sunday morning.

 The 50 something years old is a long-time visitor to the zoo, watched zookeepers caring for the animal when the lion grabbed her by the arm causing significant damage

Workplace Health and Safety Queensland is investigating after her arm was bitten off by a lioness at Darling Downs Zoo in Pilton, Queenslan

She’s reportedly recovering in hospital after emergency surgery.
