Morocco And Senegal Lead Latest African FIFA Rankings As Nigeria Slip Further

The latest FIFA rankings have just been released, and CAF has made a list of the top ten African ranked teams according to FIFA, according to the list Morocco and Senegal continuing to dominate the continent. Morocco remains the highest-ranked African team, sitting at 12th in the world, while Senegal follows closely in 18th place. Both nations are comfortably ahead of the rest of the continent in terms of global standing.

Nigeria, however, has dropped to 44th in the world and fifth in Africa—an indication of the country’s declining football structure and mismanagement at the top level.

South Africa complete the continental top ten, ranked 56th globally. Meanwhile, Ghana has fallen out of Africa’s top ten and is now ranked 64th in the world.
