Officials Arrested Ten Individuals And Charged Them With Attempted Murder For A Planned Ambush Of ICE Agents In Texas

Ten people have been charged with three counts each of attempted murder of a federal officer and discharging a firearm in relation to a crime of violence.

Acting U.S. Attorney Nancy Larson announces attempted murder charges against the individuals involved in a coordinated attack on ICE officers in Alvarado, Texas: “It was a planned ambush with the intent to kill ICE corrections officers,” she stated.

The 10 charged with attempted murder are: Cameron Arnold, Savanna Batten, Nathan Baumann, Zachary Evetts, Joy Gibson, Bradford Morris, Maricela Rueda, Seth Sikes, Elizabeth Soto, and Ines Soto.

 An eleventh individual faces charges of obstruction of justice and conspiracy.

The incident involved vandalism and shooting of fireworks aimed at luring out and attacking ICE corrections officers.
