Victor Osimhen has reportedly given the green light to join Galatasaray. The Turkish giants began formal talks with Napoli on Monday, submitting an opening bid of €60 million, which was immediately rejected by the Serie A club. According to Fabrizio Romano, Napoli are holding out for the full €75 million release clause in the Nigerian striker’s contract.
Osimhen has already agreed to personal terms on a three-year contract with Galatasaray, according to Nigerian transfer expert Buchi Laba. The 25-year-old turned down offers from other top European clubs, convinced by the long-term project Galatasaray is building.
The Super Eagles forward is currently in Nigeria, enjoying his holidays with family and friends after an exceptional season in which he scored 37 goals and provided seven assists in all competitions.
