The Olubadan of Ibadanland, Oba Owolabi Olakulehin, has died at 90, two days after celebrating his birthday, ending a one-year reign on the throne.

 July 12 would mark one year since his coronation by Oyo State Governor, Engr. Seyi Makinde, a historic event that ushered in his reign as the 43rd Olubadan of Ibadanland.
