Ten-year couple Jade Rick Verdillo and Jamaica Aguilar exchanged their “I dos” despite the heavy rain and flooding brought by habagat in Barasoain Church, Malolos, Bulacan, Philippines.
On Tuesday, the Barasoain church, flooded due to heavy rain. Typhoon Wipha had intensified seasonal monsoon rains in the Philippines, bringing widespread flooding.
The couple anticipated the risk of flooding, however, they decided to push through, as the venue was reserved two years ago, a location that is difficult to book, and have already taken leave from their jobs as accountants.
Bulacan was among the provinces hit by widespread flooding in the country due to persistent downpour brought by the southwest monsoon.
