Torino Secure Anjorin On Loan With Mandatory Buy Option

Torino have completed the signing of Tino Anjorin on loan from Empoli, with the deal including a mandatory buy option set at €4.5 million.

Anjorin initially joined Empoli from Premier League side Chelsea, where he rose through the youth ranks, featuring for every age-grade team before departing in the summer of 2024. Despite his promise, he made fewer than five senior appearances for the London-based club. However, he was part of the Chelsea squad that won the UEFA Champions League in 2021.

Eligible to represent Nigeria internationally, Anjorin has yet to feature for England’s senior national team. He has, however, played for the country at various youth levels, ranging from the U15s to the U20s.

The move to Torino gives the midfielder an opportunity to gain regular first-team action.
