White House Responds To The Amnesty Bill Being Pushed By Some “Republicans” In Congress

White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt announced that President Trump has reviewed and opposes Maria Salazar’s Dignity Act that would give mass amnesty!

“The President has made it very clear he will NOT support amnesty for illegal aliens in any way.” Leavitt affirmed

This is coming after A Soft Amnesty Bill was filed and has the support of several House Republicans and Salazar introduced the ‘Dignity Act’ on Wednesday at the House, stating that: ”It would allow illegal aliens who crossed the border before 2021 a pathway to stay and work here, legally. They can get up to 7 years of legal status with work authorization.

“They’d need to pay restitution and check in regularly with DHS, and the legal status could be RENEWED if there is good conduct.

Salazar canvassed vigorously about the Dignity Act of 2025, the groundbreaking immigration proposal she introduced: “It’s time to do what is right for our economy and our security as a nation. Immigration is the top issue facing our country and Congress needs to act.”

Salazar requested for amnesty for illegals from Trump: “Mr. President, only you have the ability and political courage to fix what others didn’t dare to touch.

“The Dignity Law is your opportunity to achieve the best immigration deal the United States has ever seen. This is your moment, and I believe you are the leader God has chosen to seize it.

“There is another mass of people, most of them Hispanics, who have been here for more than five years contributing to the economy, who do not have a criminal record, and those people deserve some type of dignity and deserve to stay.”
