Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are both interested in signing Piero Hincapié.

Tottenham submitted a loan bid for the Ecuadorian defender, which included an obligatory buy option clause of around €60 million, but the offer was rejected immediately.

Hincapié prefers a move to Arsenal, as he considers the project highly attractive. Talks have already begun with the player’s representatives, and Arsenal are set to enter into discussions with Bayer Leverkusen soon.

The 23-year-old has a release clause of €60 million and has already informed Bayer Leverkusen of his desire to leave.
