Danjuma set to join Valencia on a three-year contract

Arnaut Danjuma will sign for Valencia on a three-year contract.

According to transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, an agreement has been reached between Villarreal and Valencia for the player. Fabrizio didn’t reveal the transfer fee, but it will be revealed soon.

He joined Villarreal in 2021 from Premier League club AFC Bournemouth for a €25 million fee. Fans expected big things from him, but unfortunately, he didn’t meet expectations as he couldn’t adapt.

Danjuma spent only two seasons at the club and went on loan to Tottenham, Everton, and Girona. The Dutchman couldn’t convince any of the clubs to purchase him on a permanent transfer, as his performances were appalling.

The 28-year-old scored 24 goals and provided four assists in 54 games for Villarreal.
