Yves Bissouma’s proposed transfer to Galatasaray has collapsed, despite the Turkish club reaching an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur. The deal was ultimately called off due to concerns over the player’s fitness.
In response, Galatasaray have turned their attention to Club Brugge midfielder Raphael Onyedika, making contact with the Belgian side to inquire about the conditions for a potential deal. The Nigeria international is reportedly valued at €30–€35 million.
Galatasaray are currently in urgent need of a deep-lying midfielder, with limited options in that area of the pitch. With Okan Buruk favouring a 4-2-3-1 formation, securing a defensive midfielder who can effectively progress the ball is seen as a top priority.
