Manchester United are closing in on a deal for Royal Antwerp goalkeeper Senne Lammens. The deal is worth around £16 million plus add-ons.
Personal terms have already been agreed, as the player is keen on a move to Manchester United. Clubs from France, Italy, and Turkey showed interest, including Galatasaray, who offered him Champions League football. However, Lammens chose Manchester United.
The goalkeeping department has been one of the weakest areas in Manchester United’s squad, and bringing in the 23-year-old feels like the right move. Lammens is expected to compete with Andre Onana for the number one spot. According to Transfermarkt, he has played 103 games in his career.
