Ndidi Agrees To Join Beşiktaş

Wilfred Ndidi has agreed to join Turkish side Beşiktaş on a three-year contract, with an option to extend for an additional year. Beşiktaş were very keen on the Nigerian midfielder and have reached an agreement with Leicester City for a fee of €9.5 million.

There were concerns in Turkey that the deal could be hijacked, as Real Betis attempted to approach Leicester for Ndidi, but they failed to reach an agreement with the Championship club.

Once the deal is officially announced, it will mark the end of Ndidi’s long spell at Leicester. He joined the Foxes in 2017 from Genk for a fee of around £17 million.

Ndidi played 303 matches for Leicester, scoring 18 goals and providing 22 assists. He won three trophies with the club: the FA Cup, EFL Championship, and the FA Community Shield.
