Otto Addo Names Ghana Squad For World Cup Qualifiers Against Chad And Mali

Ghana head coach Otto Addo has released his squad for the upcoming World Cup qualifiers against Chad and Mali, scheduled for the 4th and 8th of September, respectively. Ghana currently top Group I with 15 points—three points ahead of Comoros, five clear of Madagascar, and six ahead of Mali.

The only major omission from the squad is Abdul Fatawu. According to Addo and his backroom staff, it is too early for him to return to the national team following a long-term absence due to an ACL injury. Addo believes the winger needs more time to return to full form.
