Patrik Schick Signs New Five-Year Deal With Bayer Leverkusen

Patrik Schick has renewed his contract with Bayer Leverkusen. The new deal is valid for the next five years.

There were rumours that Schick was likely to leave the club, but with this contract extension, he has committed his future to Bayer Leverkusen.

Sporting director Simon Rolfes was ecstatic about the Czech international extending his stay. He said:

“With Patrik’s commitment, we have not only convinced one of Europe’s most accurate centre-forwards of our concept. With this contract extension, we are also securing a leading player for our team with whom we will strive for the highest goals in the coming years. As we embark on the next cycle at Bayer 04, we see Patrik as a driving force for development. He combines top-class football and an exceptional goalscoring rate with extensive international experience, and he will help give the squad the necessary stability and structure.”

Schick has played 168 competitive games for Leverkusen, scoring 81 goals and providing 12 assists.
