 “Whatever it takes, India will not compromise on the interests of its farmers, livestock keepers and fishermen.” Indian prime minister Narendra Modi vowed as he meet with group of farmers on Thursday to discuss techniques that will improve productivity.

In his words:  “Earlier today in Parliament, met a group of farmers from Tamil Nadu.

“Was amazed to hear about their experiences and their focus on innovation and embracing new farming techniques to boost productivity as well as increase sustainability.”
