The Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo received the top scorer trophy before the 2-0 victory against Al Kholood Club, keeping Al Nassr at the top of Arab football.
Al-Nassr secured a secured viictory over Al-Kholood in the Saudi Pro League on Sunday. The Riyadh-based club were led by Cristiano Ronaldo celebrating a personal award alongside the team’s success.
Ronaldo received the 2024-25 Golden Boot, presented to him by Majed Abdullah, an Al Nassr legendand Saudi Arabia’s all-time top scorer. The ceremony took place at Al Awwal Park, in front of a packed stadium of fans who cheered for the Portuguese captain.
The forward received the trophy for his 25 goals scored last season, his second top scorer award in Saudi lands, following the 35 goals he netted the previous season.
With this victory, the team led by Luis Castro reached six points in two rounds, taking the lead in the Saudi Pro League by goal difference over Al Khaleej and Ittihad FC.
