The UK student who was arrested after allegedly wrapping her deceased baby in a towel inside a trash bag in a closet pleads not guilty, released on $100k bond.

The UK cheer team member has been ordered “to live with parents” ahead of her Sep. 26 court date.

Snelling was charged with abuse of a corpse, tampering with physical evidence, and concealing the birth of an infant.

According to police, Snelling admitted she had given birth and attempted to conceal evidence of the birth.

Officials have previously reveals a 21-year-old cheerleader Laken Snelling, was arrested following the death of a newborn baby.

Snelling, who currently attends the University of Kentucky, was reportedly taken into custody after the infant was found “unresponsive” in a closet.

The baby was pronounced dead at the scene around 10.30am on Wednesday, with the local County Coroner’s Office yet to determine the cause of death.

The student, who is a member of the school’s STUNT team, is believed to be the child’s mother.
