US Secretary Of State Rubio Marco To Revoke Foreigners’ Visas Who Celebrate Death Of Citizens,

The US Secretary of State Rubio Marco during an interview revealed that visa revoking is coming soon to foreigners who celebrates the death of American citizens.

This is coming after the death of conservative activist Charlie Kirk who was assassinated at the Utah University during an open air event on September 10, 2025 and there have been celebrations from some quarter, stating the deceased deserved what he gets.

Marco stated further: “America will not host foreigners who celebrate the death of our fellow citizens. Visa revocations are under way.

“If you are here on a visa and cheering on the public assassination of a political figure, prepare to be deported. You are not welcome in this country.” The US Secretary emphasized

Secretary Rubio’s post further stated that this follow reports of such celebrations online, with officials monitoring social media and encouraging reports. Deportations are underway for those on visas found violating this.

In the same vein, Vice President JD Vance, while hosting Kirk’s podcast on Monday, said people should report individuals seen celebrating Kirk’s death to their employers.

“By celebrating that murder, apologizing for it, and emphasizing not Charlie’s innocence but the fact that he said things some didn’t like—even to the point of lying about what he actually said—many of these people are creating an environment where things like this are inevitably going to happen,” Vance said.

“So when you see someone celebrating Charlie’s murder, call them out,” he continued. “And hell, call their employer.”

Somali refugee Iihan Omar, a Minnesota Rep shared a video saying “Kirk was a reprehensible human being, a stochastic terrorist, with his last dying words, he was spewing racist dog whistles. Charlie Kirk was Doctor Frankenstein and his monster shot him through the neck.”

There have been advocates against Omar’s speech such as Rep Nancy Mace championing the cause of her removal from the committee.

Mace wrote on X: “Free speech isn’t free from consequences. Tomorrow, we are filing a PRIVILEGED motion to censure Ilhan Omar and remove her from her committees. This will force a vote. Half measures are not enough anymore. Ilhan Omar is not compatible with our American values. She has no place in Congress and should be admonished.”

Rubio’s threat of visa revocations is the latest crackdown against those accused of publicly celebrating Kirk’s death online.

Earlier this year, visas were revoked from thousands of students connected to pro-Palestinian protests across college campuses
