Crime 101 is an upcoming crime action thriller film directed by Bart Layton, who co-wrote the screenplay with Peter Straughan. It is based on the 2010 novella of the same name by Don Winslow.

The movie is centered on detective Lou Lubesnick tracking a jewel thief adhering to the “Crime 101” rules – a strict set of guidelines for the perfect heist.
