The Israel Foreign Ministry in a post confirmed that the effigy of Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a ‘death penalty’ sign was created by the Turkish Academics.
The ministry while condemning the act rebuked the country’s authority for the “disgraceful behavior”
Its statement on Sunday read: “Turkish academic creates model of hanged Netanyahu, with a “Death Penalty” sign. Proudly aided by a state company.
“Turkish authorities have not disavowed this disgraceful behavior.
“In Erdoğan’s Turkey, hatred & antisemitism isn’t condemned. It’s celebrated.
