Arsenal and Norway captain Martin Ødegaard is expected to remain out of action until after the November international break following a knee injury sustained earlier this month.
Ødegaard picked up the injury during Arsenal’s 2-0 win over West Ham on October 4, where he was forced off in the first half. Initial assessments suggested a minor issue, but further evaluation has ruled him out for several weeks.
The setback means the midfielder will miss a number of key fixtures for Arsenal, including matches against Fulham, Atletico Madrid, Crystal Palace, Brighton, Burnley, Slavia Prague, and Sunderland.
At international level, Ødegaard was absent from Norway’s 5-0 win over Israel and will also sit out upcoming fixtures against Estonia and Italy. Arsenal are expected to monitor his recovery closely.
