Nottingham Forest Set To Appoint Sean Dyche As Head Coach

Nottingham Forest has reached a verbal agreement with Sean Dyche to become the club’s new head coach. The experienced English manager is expected to sign a contract running until June 2027.

Club owner Evangelos Marinakis initially targeted Roberto Mancini for the role, but negotiations with the Italian did not result in an agreement. The club subsequently turned its attention to Dyche, who has managed both Burnley and Everton in the Premier League. At both clubs, Dyche was credited with bringing stability and securing their top-flight status during challenging periods.

Dyche now takes on a new challenge at Nottingham Forest, a club currently struggling with form after going eight matches without a win. The primary objective will be to stabilise performances and guide the team back to consistent results. In addition to improving their Premier League position, Forest will look to make progress in the Europa League under his leadership, with long-term ambitions of securing a top-six finish.
