Paris Saint-Germain is close to securing a new long-term contract for defender Willian Pacho. Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano shared the update via his official X handle. The statement reads:
“Paris Saint-Germain are closing in on new deal with higher salary for William Pacho.
New contract being finalised as L’Équipe says it will be valid until June 2030.
Excellent move in summer 2024 strongly wanted by Luis Campos, seen as key part of Luis Enrique’s squad.”
Pacho joined PSG in the summer of 2024 and has since established himself as a key figure in the squad. In his debut season, he played a crucial role in helping the club secure five trophies.
Since arriving at the French champions, the Ecuadorian international has made 64 appearances across all competitions, delivering consistently solid performances at the back.
This contract extension reflects PSG’s confidence in Pacho’s long-term value to the team and Luis Enrique’s continued reliance on the 23-year-old as a defensive pillar.
