Eight Democratic Senators Joined 52 Republicans In A Procedural Vote To Reopen The Government.

Eight Democratic senators Dick Durbin (D-IL), Maggie Hassan (D-NH) , Angus King (I-ME, caucuses with Democrats), Catherine Cortez Masto (D-NV), Tim Kaine (D-VA), Jeanne Shaheen (D-NH), Jacky Rosen (D-NV)and John Fetterman (D-PA) have joined 52 Republicans in a key procedural vote to advance legislation aimed at reopening the federal government.

The Senate passes the U.S. đŸ‡ș🇾 government funding through January. Eight democratic senators joined 52 republicans to pass the bill 60-40.

After a House vote, the bill to end the shutdown will move to Trump’s desk where we can finally move on to bringing the hard working people of America back to work.
