Victor Osimhen scored three goals in the first half to secure Galatasaray’s 3-0 victory over Ajax in the UEFA Champions League at Amsterdam’s Johan Cruyff Arena on Wednesday.
The Nigerian striker achieved his first Champions League hat-trick, becoming the first Galatasaray player to score braces in consecutive matches and earning his third straight Player of the Match award this season.
Osimhen now leads the competition’s scoring charts and holds Nigeria’s all-time UEFA club competition record with 25 goals.
