Fiorentina have announced that Paolo Vanoli is set to sign a contract with the club until June 2026, with an option for an additional season.
Vanoli brings with him a wealth of experience, having managed clubs including Lugano, Como, and Spezia, as well as working with Italy’s youth national teams. He is expected to take over a struggling Fiorentina side that has endured a disastrous start to the season, going winless in their last ten matches and managing just four draws. The Viola currently sit at the bottom of the Serie A table and are desperate for a turnaround to avoid a prolonged relegation battle.
The club hopes Vanoli’s tactical acumen and leadership can revive Fiorentina’s form and restore confidence in the squad as they fight to climb out of the league’s relegation zone.
