A Vanity Fair article by Chris Whipple, based on 11 interviews, quoted White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles describing Trump’s mindset as ‘an alcoholic’s personality,’ criticized JD Vance a former ‘conspiracy theorist,’ Elon Musk an ‘odd duck,’ Russell Vought, architect of the notorious Project 2025 and head of the Office of Management and Budget, is “a right-wing absolute zealot.”
Wiles also detailed policy clashes, like pushing for selective January 6 pardons and opposing chaotic tariff plans, yet praised the Cabinet as world-class for tackling the deep state.
Wiles described the piece as ‘disingenuously framed,’ in her defense she denied one of the remarks claiming she didn’t call Elon Musk “an avowed ketamine” in one of her ELEVEN interviews with Vanity Fair: “That’s ridiculous. I wouldn’t have said it and I wouldn’t know.” She declared
In post on X, the Chief of Staff further wrote praising Trump’s administration and Staff: “The article published early this morning is a disingenuously framed hit piece on me and the finest President, White House staff, and Cabinet in history.
“Significant context was disregarded and much of what I, and others, said about the team and the President was left out of the story. I assume, after reading it, that this was done to paint an overwhelmingly chaotic and negative narrative about the President and our team.
“The truth is the Trump White House has already accomplished more in eleven months than any other President has accomplished in eight years and that is due to the unmatched leadership and vision of President Trump, for whom I have been honored to work for the better part of a decade.
“None of this will stop our relentless pursuit of Making America Great Again” she vowed.
However, Whipple confirmed it with a recording, dismissing the piece as a hit job while Trump and cabinet members rallied behind her leadership.
Trump’s son defended her for her steady leadership 11 months into his father’s administration claiming she’s ‘effective and trust worthy’
“When things were tough and other supposed friends left my dad like a bunch of rats, Susie stood by his side and worked her ass off every day to rebuild his political operation and ensure that his comeback in 2024 would be successful.
“When others cowered, she stood strong.
“One of the other things I’ve always appreciated about Susie is how she has never tried to subvert my father’s America First policy agenda. She is an honest broker who only cares about executing my dad’s wishes on policy – Which is much different than how things were in his first term when countless staffers thought it was there job to “rein in” Trump.” He pointed out
Allies also rallied her with praise as criticism arises over the interview, JD Vance quipped about his own theories before praising her loyalty, underscoring the team’s unity amid private candor: “The President and the entire team love Susie because she is loyal and good at her job. An extremely rare combo in the halls of power.”
Secretary Kennedy among others wrote: “Susie Wiles is arguably the most perfect presidential chief of staff in modern American history. She is the first female to occupy that position, but more importantly she is a leader who combines deftness, kindness, and compassion with a maternal toughness and discipline that elevates the entire White House apparatus.”
In U.S attorney General Pamela Bondi’s word: “agenda – and she does so with grace, loyalty, and historic effectiveness. Any attempt to divide this administration will fail.
“Any attempt to undermine and downplay President Trump’s monumental achievements will fail.
“We are family. We are united.”
According to Secretary of War Pete Hegseth: “This is what the Left does: trash & smear our best & most effective people.
“They do it to President Trump daily — and now to Chief Susie Wiles.
“Susie is the most TRUSTED, most PROFESSIONAL & most EFFECTIVE Chief of Staff of my lifetime. Absolutely nobody better!”
