Oba of Ile Ife, Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, Ojaja II, on Monday honored President John Mahama with the title ‘Aare Atayeto Oodua of the Source,’ meaning a leader who reorganizes the global space for humanity.
The ceremony featured golden statues, traditional drumming, and dignitaries like the Emir of Kano and the Olofa of Offa, where Mahama once lived and holds another title.
This recognition highlights deep cultural ties between Ghana and Nigeria’s Yoruba communities.
