The 32-year-old World Cup winner debuted against Rennes last month after 811 days sidelined by a positive DHEA test during his Juventus days.
He shared an emotional shout out to Cristiano Ronaldo in the audience, crediting him for inspiring the next generation: “Cristiano, you are here, you have inspired all of us as a football player. You did this for the next generation. Big thank you, Cristiano.”
