‘See You In Court’— CAIR Announces Plan To File Lawsuit Against Governor DeSantis For Designates Muslim Brotherhood And CAIR As Terrorist Groups Florida

Florida governor Ron DeSantis effective immediately designates the MUSLIM BROTHERHOOD and Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) as foreign terrorist organizations, citing court cases like the 2009 Holy Land Foundation trial where CAIR was named an unindicted co-conspirator in Hamas financing.

It prohibits Florida governments from offering contracts, funds, or jobs to their supporters, following a similar step by Texas Governor Greg Abbott last month.

“Florida agencies are hereby directed to undertake all lawful measures to prevent unlawful activities by these organizations, including denying privileges or resources to anyone providing material support.”

CAIR called it unconstitutional and plans to sue, while DeSantis welcomes the court fight and pushes for permanent state law.

CAIR-Florida told Gov. Ron ‘see you in court,’ announcing its plans to file a lawsuit against the governor in response to his ‘defamatory and unconstitutional’ order baselessly smearing the group as foreign terrorist organization.
