Nigeria group C opponent, Tanzania, has named their squad for AFCON 2025. The players are mostly ballers playing in the Tanzania top flight.
This will be head coach Miguel Gamondi’s first AFCON tournament as a manager. The Argentine gaffer has made exploits in the past in African football, helping Young Africans to the quarter-finals of the CAF Champions League during the 2023–2024 season. Gamondi will hope to help Tanzania reach the AFCON knockout stages for the first time in their history, as they have been previously knocked out in the group stages of the last three editions. They are in Group C alongside Nigeria, Tunisia, and Uganda.
