Tottenham Hotspur Legend Son Heung-Min, Returns Home For Emotional Farewell And Mural Tribute

Nearly six months after leaving for LAFC, Spurs captain and record scorer Son Heung-min visited Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Monday ahead of their Champions League win over Slavia Prague.

The South Korean captain received a golden cockerel statue from club legend Ledley King and told the roaring crowd, “I hope you guys don’t forget me. This is my home.

“Please stay with me and visit LA when you want, I would love to have you guys & i hope we will see each other very often. Love you guys & come on you spurs.”

Over 10 years, Son scored 173 goals, 101 assists in 454 games, earning his place as Spurs’ greatest Asian player and a Premier League icon.
