AC Milan midfielder Ruben Loftus-Cheek has attracted interest from Aston Villa, who have made initial enquiries to understand the player’s potential exit conditions, according to reports from the Daily Telegraph.

Villa’s interest comes in the wake of Boubacar Kamara being ruled out for the remainder of the season with a serious knee injury.

Loftus-Cheek has been a regular figure for AC Milan this season, featuring in 19 Serie A matches and making three appearances in the Coppa Italia.

AC Milan have also begun discussions over a potential new contract for the midfielder, who is highly appreciated by head coach Massimiliano Allegri.
