Brazil Reach Agreement With Carlo Ancelotti on Contract Extension Until 2030

Brazil have reached an agreement with head coach Carlo Ancelotti to extend his contract until 2030, according to reports from Brazilian news outlet Globo.

Although the agreement has been concluded, the contract has not yet been signed. It is expected to be finalized in February. Once completed, the new deal will see Ancelotti remain in charge of the Brazilian national team beyond the 2030 FIFA World Cup.

According to The Chosun Daily, Ancelotti’s salary will remain unchanged under the new agreement. He will continue to earn €10 million annually, while the performance-based bonus structure will be adjusted.

The report adds that Ancelotti is set to receive a €5 million bonus if he leads Brazil to victory at the 2026 FIFA World Cup. The tournament will take place from June 11 to July 19, 2026, across 16 host cities in the United States, Mexico, and Canada.
