The Nigerian attack was in top form, with Osimhen and Lookman once again standing out. Osimhen has now recorded three goals and one assist in the tournament, while Lookman has been equally influential with three goals and three assists, highlighting their growing chemistry and importance to the team.
Akor Adams has also emerged as a key figure for Nigeria since the start of the competition. The forward has formed an effective partnership with Osimhen, contributing one goal and two assists so far. Beyond his direct goal involvement, Adams has impressed with his intelligent link up play, completing 29 progressive passes that have consistently driven Nigeria forward.
Nigeria currently stand as the highest scoring team at AFCON 2025 with 12 goals, averaging three goals per game. They are also the only team to have scored four goals in a single match in the tournament, underlining their attacking strength as they move confidently into the knockout stage.
