A 13-year-old girl from Ibadan, Oyo State Nigeria, Anu, had on Tuesday called out Afrobeat singer Davido, requesting for DNA test just to establish who her father is.
Anu in the post shared on social media narrated her struggles with school taunts over rumored Adeleke family ties and mental health therapy, insisting the test is just between her and Davido.
Davido claims he has never met the mother of the girl who’s asking for a DNA test now, except when they went to the hospital.
The Nigerian singer hit back on X, claiming five DNA tests from different hospitals proved he’s not the father, and warned of legal action against her mother Ayo Labinjoh.
The dispute traces to a 2013 encounter Ayo described, with clashing stories on past tests—no results public—and many now calling for a fresh, transparent one to give Anu closure.
