Tottenham Hotspur Working on Free Transfer Deal for Andy Robertson

Tottenham Hotspur have expressed strong interest in Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson and have begun working on a potential deal to sign him on a free transfer when his current contract expires this summer.

Spurs have reportedly brought forward their plans and now view Robertson as a key free-agent target ahead of the upcoming transfer window. While the move is not yet finalized, discussions between all parties are said to be progressing, with Tottenham exploring the conditions required to reach an agreement.

Robertson’s future at Liverpool remains under close watch. The Merseyside club have offered the defender a contract extension that would keep him at Anfield until June 2027, as they look to retain one of their long-serving players.

The Scotland international joined Liverpool from Hull City on July 21, 2017, and has since been a mainstay in the club’s squad. He has made 363 appearances for the Reds, scored 12 goals, and won nine major trophies, including the UEFA Champions League, Premier League, and FIFA Club World Cup.

As talks continue, Robertson’s next move is expected to become clearer in the coming months, with Tottenham actively positioning themselves should he become available on a free transfer.
