The Airport Police Command, has taken note of a video currently circulating on social media involving police personnel of the Command and an Instagram content creator, @teaserprank2, following a routine stop-and-search operation.
The Command wishes to inform the public that the officers captured in the video have been identified and taken into custody. They are currently undergoing appropriate internal disciplinary procedures in line with the extant rules, regulations, and professional standards of the Nigeria Police Force.
The Airport Police Command sympathizes with @teaserprank2 for the experience encountered during the incident. The Nigeria Police Force does not condone any form of harassment, intimidation, or unprofessional conduct by its personnel under any circumstance. Our officers are expected to carry out their lawful duties with civility, restraint, and respect for the rights and dignity of all citizens.
