AC Milan Consider Triggering Contract Extension for Luka Modric

AC Milan are keen to retain Luka Modrić beyond the current season and would be prepared to activate the option in his contract that would extend his stay until June 2027.

The Croatian midfielder officially joined the Rossoneri on July 14, 2025, signing a one-year deal running through June 30, 2026. The agreement includes a player option for an additional year, allowing him to remain at the club until 2027.

Modrić has featured in 26 matches across all competitions this season, contributing two goals and three assists. While Milan are ready to move forward with the extension, the final decision on his future is expected to be made by the player in the coming months.
