Ademola Lookman is set to join Atlético Madrid after all details of his transfer from Atalanta were successfully agreed.

The deal is worth €35 million as a fixed fee, with an additional €5 million in performance-related add-ons payable to Atalanta. Lookman has also agreed to a long-term contract with the Spanish side, following a final decision taken last night.

The Nigerian forward arrived in Madrid on Tuesday and has already undergone his medical examinations. The transfer will be officially completed once he passes the medical and formalizes his contract.

All agreements between Atlético Madrid and Atalanta are now in place, marking a significant reinforcement for Diego Simeone’s squad. Lookman is expected to be deployed as either a left or right winger , adding pace, creativity and goal threat to Atletico ‘s attack.
