Celine Dion: “On this day in 1999, “My Heart Will Go On” was honored with four GRAMMY Awards including Record of the Year (a first for a Canadian), Song of the Year, Best Female Pop Vocal Performance, and Best Song Written for a Motion Picture or Television.

“The evening was later dubbed the “Year of Women,” with Album of the Year nominees including Madonna, Shania Twain, Sheryl Crow, and Garbage.
