Nigerian helicopter pilot captain Arinze Odira on Wednesday called out the officials of Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria —FAAN—over the non-working clock at the Lagos International airport, describing it as ‘a poor culture of excellence.’
Captain Arinze post read: “There are 5 wall clocks at the arrival terminal of M.M. International Aiport Lagos that should be showing the time in Lagos, Beijing, UAE, New York, and London.
“None of them is working. If you check, it is just a battery problem. None of the airport officials sees anything wrong with that.
“It is a cultural thing, a poor culture of excellence.”
Four hours after FAAN appreciated reacted to the complaint, appreciated the pilot and reported that the needful had been done, showing footage of the said clock, to be in good working order.
FAAN: “Thank you for the feedback @CaptainArinze. The MMIA team has updated the clock.”
