Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu: “Today, at the Nigeria Foreign Direct Investment Training Programme at the University of Cambridge, I shared an important update about His Excellency, President Bola Tinubu, and how excited he is about the proposed Lagos International Financial Centre.
“He understands what this could mean for Nigeria and is looking forward to receiving a detailed proposal. His readiness to engage and provide leadership is encouraging.
“The Lagos International Financial Centre is not about Lagos alone, and it is not about any individual. It is about positioning Nigeria properly within the global financial system. If we get this right, we will create jobs, attract investment, and send a clear signal that Nigeria is serious about competing at the highest level.
“I am grateful to our partners, including TheCityUK and the Foreign Commonwealth and Development Office, as well as EnterpriseNGR and private sector leaders who are committed to making this vision a reality.
“We have started the work. Now we must stay focused and see it through.”
